PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece capable of quickly setting a plurality of mechanically linked, rotating pointers in a standard arrangement. SOLUTION: In three mechanically linked, rotating pointers 4-6, a second hand 4 and a minute hand 5 having a larger rotation ratio are at a predetermined rotary position (00 minutes 00 seconds), and arrangement (c) at an optional rotary position of an hour hand 6 having a smaller rotation ratio is set in a standard arrangement of the pointers 4-6, thus quickly moving the three linked pointers 4-6 in a standard arrangement and performing processing of position adjustments of the second hand 4 and the minute hand 5.
