Mayonnaise-like food sauce comprises: 75-90 wt.% of liquid; 1-10 wt.% of mustard; 1-10 wt.% of lemon juice, vinegar or acetic acid and/or citric acid; 1-30 wt.% of cassava starch; 1-30 wt.% of rice starch; 0-2 wt.% of lupin protein; 0-5 wt.% of flavorant or flavoring substance and/or spices and condiments; and 0-10 wt.% of fibers. An independent claim is included for preparing the mayonnaise-like food sauce comprising mixing the food mayonnaise type ingredients at a temperature of >= 80[deg] C. |
