The system has a heating device (3) mounted at a rotary kiln (1), and a sound absorber (4) for sound absorption of intake noises of the heating device. The sound absorber is connected with the heating device, and comprises an absorber inlet port for suction of heated surrounding air. The heating device comprises a base body with a base body inlet port and a base body outlet port, where the base body is concentrically arranged at a longitudinal axis (60) of the rotary kiln. The absorber inlet port is turned towards a front wall (2) of the rotary kiln.
