The present invention relates to a smart booster braking device and a method using the same for controlling pressure during an urgent braking. The method for controlling pressure during an urgent braking includes a step where a control unit calculates the necessary braking pressure; a step for determining whether an urgent braking is needed or not based on the necessary braking pressure; and a step for forming the braking pressure by applying currents to a motor by a control motor through a light magnetic flux control when the urgent braking is needed. According to the present invention, a current value necessary for the actual torque can be increased by determining whether the urgent braking is needed or not according to the braking pressure and the motor current value and applying the light magnetic flux control for solving a voltage shortage problem for the motor generated in an existing torque control so that a braking distance can be reduced by improving the response of the braking pressure.
