A data searching method and a data searching device applying the same are provided. The data searching method comprises a step of receiving user voice data; a step of generating original text by recognizing voice from the inputted user voice data; a step of generating first indexing information between the voice data and the original text; a step of generating edited text by editing the original text; a step of generating second indexing information between the original text and the edited text; and a step of outputting a second region of the voice data corresponding to a first region of the edited text by using the first indexing information and the second indexing information when the first region of the edited text is selected.
