PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system of a building capable of properly ventilating the building through the inside of a shutter case. SOLUTION: A shutter device 31 installed at a window part 15 includes a shutter curtain 32 and the shutter case 33. The shutter case 33 is attached to an outer wall 12, and comprises a storage space 37 for storing the shutter curtain 32. A curtain through-hole 39 and a case side opening 51 are formed in the shutter case 33. An outer wall side opening 52 is formed in the outer wall 12. The storage space 37 for the shutter curtain 32 forms a ventilation passage allowing the outside of the building to communicate with a living room 11. An opening/closing device 55 electrically connected to a controller 61 is installed at the outer wall side opening 52. The controller 61 makes the opening/closing device 55 open and close the outer wall side opening 52 according to the state of opening/closing of the shutter curtain 32.
