The device (4) has a wedge (5) comprising a mounting unit formed of threaded holes for mounting a covering profile (2) on the wedge. The holes open on an upper face of the wedge. A single fixing screw (6) fixes the wedge on a ridge (F) of a wall (M). The wedge has projections (51, 52) projecting from a flat base (50) that define a support face. The projections define support areas in which the holes are formed. Height of one of the projections is greater than that of another projection so as to provide slope of the profile and/or a slide. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a covering system for a ridge of a wall coated with insulation complex (2) a method for mounting a covering system on a ridge of a wall coated with insulation complex.
