The present invention relates to a piston type accumulator for a shock absorber. The piston type accumulator for a shock absorber comprises a cylinder (10) formed with a fluid access hole (11) at the bottom; an air chamber to store backup pressure at the top inside the cylinder (10); and a piston (30) at the bottom of the air chamber to allow a fluid to access the inside of the cylinder by moving back and forth. The piston (30) includes a body (31) and a protrusion (32) to absorb shock caused by the access of the fluid at the bottom of the body (31). The piston type accumulator for a shock absorber absorbs shock when the fluid flows in or out of an accumulator cylinder, reduces damage to an accumulator and a fluid circuit, enables a long-term usage, and lowers costs for maintenance. |
