The present invention relates to a steam generation device. The steam generation device comprises a first heating part which heats water stored in a hot water tank; a pressure tank which is connected to a first discharge pipe discharging the water stored in the hot water tank; a pressurization pump which pumps and transmits the water stored in the hot water tank to the pressure tank through the first discharge pipe; a main steam generation tank which has a closed internal space and discharges generated steam through a main discharge pipe; a second discharge pipe which is extended to transmit hot water stored in the pressure tank to the main steam generation tank; an injection part which has a nozzle injecting the discharged hot water from the pressure tank by being extended to the internal space of the main steam generation tank from the second discharge pipe; a second heating part which is formed to supply heat of combustion through a heat exchange pipe via inside the main steam generation tank and heats inside the main steam generation tank; and a control unit which controls the first heating part to maintain the water in the hot water tank at a first target temperature, controls the second heating part to maintain the temperature inside the main steam generation tank at a second target temperature, and generates steam in the main steam generation tank by controlling the driving of the pressurization pump to maintain the pressure in the pressure tank at a set target pressure. The steam generation device generates high-temperature and high-pressure steam in a short period of time by compressed injection of the hot water and improves combustion efficiency by heating inside the main steam generation tank in a combustion method by a mixture of fuel and steam.
