PURPOSE: A concrete container for storing or transporting spent nuclear fuels is provided to improve heat discharge efficiency by installing a metal structure between an inner shell and an outer shell. CONSTITUTION: An inner shell forms a cavity to receive a basket. An outer shell (102) forms the outside of a cask. A concrete shielding material is formed between the inner shell and the outer shell and is composed of a thick wall. A metal structure (131) is embedded in the concrete shielding material. |
