A heat exchanger of the present disclosure is intended to reduce a pressure loss in an auxiliary heat exchange part. A plurality of flat tubes (53, 58), a first header collecting pipe (51, 56), and a second header collecting pipe (52, 57) are provided. The flat tube (53, 58) is, at one end thereof, connected to the first header collecting pipe (51, 56), and is, at the other end thereof, connected to the second header collecting pipe (52, 57). Some of the flat tubes (53) forms a main heat exchange part (50), and the other flat tubes (58) forms an auxiliary heat exchange part (55). The number of flat tubes (58) of the auxiliary heat exchange part (55) is less than the number of flat tubes (53) of the main heat exchange part (50). The total cross-sectional area of flow paths (49) per flat tube (58) provided in the auxiliary heat exchange part (55) is greater than the total cross-sectional area of flow paths (49) per flat tube (53) provided in the main heat exchange part (50). |
