The method involves converting natural fuel into hydrogen-rich fuel using a catalyst-containing reformer (1). A natural fuel supply line (6), an air supply line (11) and/or a water supply line (14) are arranged upstream the reformer. An oxygen sensor (9) i.e. nernst sensor, is connected with a controller (10). Quantity of air passing through the air supply line and/or quantity of water passing through the water supply line and/or quantity of natural fuel passing through the natural fuel supply line are controlled by the controller depending on a signal from the oxygen sensor. |
