[Class 52 (ii).] A bedsettee comprises a main frame 1 pro - vided with guides 3 upon which move the rollers 7 of the middle section 4 of the folding mattress frame. The head section 8 is hinged to the section 4 and is also provided with a roller 9 which runs on a curved guide 10 so that the head section 8 is accommodated in a recess at the back of the settee when the mattress frame is in the folded condition. The front portion of the middle section 4 is supported on a castor 16, and has the folding seat section 5 hinged at 6 and also provided with a folding supporting leg 19. A head rest 11 is supported on double arm linkage 12, 13 and controlled by springs 14 so that it is held firmly in its upper or lower position. |
