The present invention relates to a nested-type bipolar electrode for high-frequency thermotherapy, and is characterized by being provided with; a cylindrical body (11); and an active electrode body (13) that is wound for plurality of times from the front end part of outer periphery face of the body (11) toward the rear end side and connected to one side terminal of a high-frequency generator; and a passive electrode body (15) that is wound for plurality of times from the front end part of outer periphery face of the body (11) toward the rear end side between the active electrode bodies (13) and connected to the other side terminal of the high-frequency generator. Thus, since a heat generation range by radiation of high-frequency energy generated between adjacent corresponding active electrode body and passive electrode body agrees in form with a legion part of tubular tissues such as a blood vessel in particular, damages to adjacent normal tissues upon burning procedure can be minimized, enabling a drastic improvement in thermotherapy efficiencies due to electrodes.
