Connection system consisting of a connector and a media line

The connector-media line-assembly comprises a connector (1) with a cast or sprayed casing, particularly an outer casing (9) made of plastic and a media line (2) with a closing cap (10) at an end facing the connector. The cap hinders the intrusion of molten plastic into the media line during casting and spraying of the casing. The closing cap is made of thermoplastic elastomer such as ethylene propylene diene monomer.
