Producing a fiber composite material, comprises (a) heating and melting at least one monomeric cyclic amide as monomer in the presence of at least one catalyst and in the presence of at least one activator at a temperature of 100-200[deg] C, (b) contacting the melted monomer with a polyamide reinforcement structure, (c) heating and polymerizing the monomer by increasing a temperature of 100-200[deg] C, and optionally tempering the prepared fiber composite material, and (d) extracting the fiber composite material from a mold present as a casting body.
