<p>The invention relates to a coating-material container, in particular paint can, wherein the container has a device (1) which, during use, and with appropriate conditioning, accommodates an application tool (2), in particular a brush. The device has a strip-sleeve-like guide element (4) and a strip-like accommodating element (5).
