The present invention relates to a wire grid polarizer which comprises a base plate; a polarization separating layer which is arranged on the base plate and is made of an absorptive material at a refractive index between one to ten; and a sealing layer to cut off the polarization separating layer from the outside and a device for forming photo alignment film having the same. The wire grid polarizer according to the present invention is prevented from being oxidized without being in touch with oxygen using the sealing layer.
