PURPOSE: An automatic voltage control device of a transformer having a tap position indicating function is provided to simplify the configuration of a protective distribution panel by accurately managing the operation number of an on-load tap changer and the tap position indicating function. CONSTITUTION: A multiprocessor(10) receives a secondary side PT(potential transformer) voltage from a transformer. The multiprocessor generates a rising or falling output signal based on the PT voltage. A tap position input unit(20) receives the rising or the falling output signals. The tap position input unit receives a tap position. A tap position digital indicator(30) digitally displays the tap position of the tap position input unit. A step resistance correcting device(40) corrects step resistance by comparing the step resistance and reference resistance.
