METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF ADSORBENT USING ASH WITH COPPER OXIDE DEPOSITED

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of absorbent using volcanic ash is provided to implement an absorbing process with respect to volatile organic compounds using volcanic ash and copper oxides. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of absorbent includes the following steps: copper oxides are deposited on the surface of volcanic ash; moisture is evaporated from the volcanic ash with the deposited copper oxides; and the volcanic ash with the deposited copper oxides is plasticized. The drying process is implemented in an evaporator at a temperature between 80 and 85 deg C. The moisture content of the volcanic ash after the drying process is less than or equal to 10wt%. The plasticizing process is implemented in the air at a temperature about 400 deg C for about 4 hours.
