A tailoring data generating method and tailoring data generating device realizing high performance by improving editing function and using convenience. The tailoring data generating method appoints any position in the first tailoring design (1) to parting location CP, connects the tail (CP) of front end design (7) to the front end of the second tailoring design (9), and connects the tail of the second tailoring design (9) to front end of the end design (8). The moving design operational display unit (22a) is set for operational display in the tailoring data generating device (11). So the tailof the front end design (7) of the first tailoring design (1) appointed by the parting location appointing unit (15b, 15c, 15e) is connected to the front end of the second tailoring design (9), and the tail of the second tailoring design (9) is connected to the front end of the end design (8) so as to move the end design (8) to the location of the moving target. |
