The method involves using an auxiliary hoist (22) carried by a rotating part (4) of the crane and equipped of an auxiliary cable (23) of diameter lower than lifting and hoist cables to realize a cabling operation of a lifting block with the lifting cable. The hoist is used to realize the mounting operation of a temporary sling (24) for temporary retention of a boom (9), and realize mounting operation of a tie rod line.
