The present invention relates to a system for measuring the image quality of digital television. The system for measuring image quality comprises: an image quality test signal insertion device for inserting a test signal for testing image quality into a preset region of a transient effect area (TEA) of each frame of a source image; and an image quality measuring device for detecting a test signal from the preset region of the received and restored image signal and outputting the test signal. It is desirable that the position of the insertion of the test signal is at least one line of the TEA that is located at the bottom of the image, and the test signal is constituted by multi-bursts having multiple frequencies within the range of 1/2 of a DC sampling frequency. |
