A wave coil spring is provided to maintain performance of load endurance by mounting a shock-absorbing member to a peak portion of a mount portion and a valley portion by preventing buckling. A wave coil spring comprises: a spring main body formed by processing belt-shaped spring materials in a wave shape form having a mount portion(A) and a valley portion(B) and by be rolled in a spiral form simultaneously. The spring main body further includes a concaved portion(12) narrower than a width of the valley portion close to a peak portion of the mount portion. When at least the spring main body is contracted in an axial direction by pressed loading, a bottom portion facing to the valley portion in a n+1th coil portion is contacted with a nth coil portion (n is a natural number). |
