The present invention relates to a method for preparing vinyl chloride-based resin and, more specifically, to a method for preparing vinyl chloride-based resin which increases efficiency of monomer consumption, shortens polymerization time, and enhances stability of final latex by inputting aliphatic high carbon number alcohols as a monomer absorption accelerator before polymerization.
