PURPOSE: A method for preparing phosphorus compounds is provided to prepare phosphorus compound at high yield and to prevent remnants of alkali metal ions. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing phosphorus compounds of chemical formula 1 comprises a step of reacting pentaerythritol and dichloride phosphonate under the presence of an acid catalyst and a step of treating a reactant with alkylene oxide of chemical formula 2. A flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition contains 0.1-30 parts by weight of the phosphorus compounds based on 100 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin. The number-average molecular weight of the composition is 10,000-20,000 g/mol. |
