A mechanism for welding thermoplastic pipes comprises a frame with mounted clips of pipe sections to be welded, two of which two are rigidly mounted to the frame, the two other movable clips through sleeves are rigidly attached to the ends of two hydraulic cylinders with possibility of motion parallel to the frame. Instead of the pair of movable clips a wide clip with narrow upper clips is used. The lower wide clip clamp is a support for the pipe, it is secured symmetrically between rods through the holes in the flanges of hydraulic cylinders with possibility of fixing under different angles due to rotation around a finger in the flange for appropriate holes in the lower clip clamp. The counter narrow clamps of movable and fixed clips are shifted for one position – one to the right and the second to left with possibility of entering a mill and a heating element. |
