METHOD OF WEIGHTED ROUND-ROBIN SERVICING OF MULTISERVICE INFORMATION STREAM QUEUES

A method of weighted round-robin servicing of multiservice information stream queues involves event queue formation according to traffic type, distribution of service line capacity performed according to information stream weight. When number of packets in event queue of higher priority traffic rises sharply a portion of packets that cann’t be transmitted timely through dedicated frequency band for corresponding traffic are allocated to the portion of low-priority traffic frequency band.
