PURPOSE: A depth information rotating method and a device thereof are provided to prevent a depth value from being overlapped by the rotation of a depth map and to fill the depth value by finding a position without the depth value. CONSTITUTION: A depth map rotating device calculates a conversion depth value and a conversion position of each pixel by rotating a depth map(S610). The device determines a depth value of a position corresponding to pixels(S620). The device removes pixels hidden by a depth value of other pixels in the conversion position(S630). The device displays an empty position without the depth value(S640). The device estimates the depth value of the empty position to generate a final rotation depth map(S650).
