The present invention relates to a natural-circulation solar-powered hot water system and, more specifically, to the system producing hot water by using collected solar heat. The present invention is provided to fundamentally prevent a heat storage tank and a hot water discharge pipe from being frozen and ruptured by properly operating a freeze protection valve according to a temperature change of a hot water circulation pipe and the heat storage tank; to inform a user of an emergency situation by an audio output when the temperature of hot water is increased over preset temperature or decreased below the preset temperature; and to make a user recognize whether hot water is produced by using solar energy or by a boiler when utilizing hot water by a flickering lamp.
