The invention relates to an integral bispectrum phase based a spectral dimension reduction method: for seperating a hyperspectral image to a bi-frequency area by using a bispectra; for calculating an integral bispectra by calculating a sum of a radius of components which are included inside one sector; and for reducing a spectral dimensionality by using a band, which shows special features in an integral bispectra. The integral bispectrum phase based a spectral dimension reduction method comprises: (a) a step for getting a bispectra by seperating a hyperspectral image to a bi-frequency space; (b) a step for getting an integral bispectra by integrating the bispectra which is gotten radially along a piece in a sector one of a bi-frequency space; (c) a step for getting a feature vector from a phase by getting the phase from the integral bispectra; and (d) a step for determining a number of the feature vector as a dimensionality. According to the above-mentioned method, since a dimension is reduced by using a band, which shows features, a capacity of data of a hyperspectral image is reduced, and a time for processing an image is reduced. Also, a high classification rate and a high detection rate are shown in comparison with a method, in which existing band features are not considered.
