PURPOSE: A traditional korean paper on which relief engraving figure is printed and manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a production speed because a stereoscopic perception is given by heating with a optimal temperature after printing a pattern on a one side of the traditional Korean paper. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a traditional korean paper on which relief engraving figure is printed comprises the following steps: a pattern print process which prints a pattern on a one side of the traditional Korean paper by using a dye in which a flour is dispersed; a engraving figure forming process which goes up the flour dispersed in the dye expands by applying a heat in the traditional Korean paper in order to stands out a printed pattern on a one side of the traditional Korean paper; and a process of performing a paint work about both sides or a one side of the traditional Korean paper. The heat applied to the traditional Korean paper is 150-250°C in the engraving figure forming process. A method for heating the traditional Korean paper is exposing the traditional Korean paper to a saturated steam or a superheated steam or contacting the traditional Korean paper in a thermal plate.
