METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF CONCENTRATION OF SODIUM SALT OF 4-METHYLQUINOLINE-2-YL-HYDRAZONE GLIOXALIC ACID IN WATER SOLUTION

A method for determination of concentration of sodium salt of 4-methylquinoline-2-yl-hydrazone glyoxalic acid in water solution includes potentiometric measurement of electromotive force of water solution of derivative of quinoline line by means of ion meter and use of galvanic element with silver-silver chloride comparison electrode. The direct potentiometric measurement of electromotive force of water solution of sodium salt of 4-methylquinoline-2-yl-hydrazone glyoxalic acid is performed by means of pH meter-millivoltmeter and galvanic element with indicator ion-selective electrode inverted to salt anions, with determination of negative decimal logarithm of concentration of its anions by calibration graph, with calculation of molar concentration by that characteristic.
