The invention relates to a telescopic, motor-driven tribune (1) that can be moved on the ground, including a plurality of parallel and stepped tiers (10), and a drive means for deploying/collapsing said tiers on the ground, each tier (10) including a horizontal tier stage (11) provided with a floor onto which at least one row of foldable and stowable seats are attached, the tier stage (11) being mounted onto a bracket (12) that is translatably movable along a deploying/collapsing axis (X-X') of the tribune that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tier, wherein the tiers (10) are further provided with means for telescopically sliding relative to one another, and said tiers (10) can be moved using said drive means from a position for using the tribune, in which the tiers are arranged beside one another and the seats are deployed, into a stowage position, in which each lower tier (10) is stowed under the tier immediately vertically adjacent thereto, the seats of a lower tier being folded and stowed under the vertically adjacent tier, and vice versa. Said tribune is characterized in that the bracket (12) of each tier (10) is mounted on at least two omnidirectional caster trains resting on the ground, and in that said deploying/collapsing means is also capable of moving said tribune (1), when the latter is in the stowage position, together with said caster trains along the deploying/collapsing axis (X-X') and of causing the tribune to pivot on itself.
