PURPOSE: A polymorphic marker for identifying the species of Cucumis sativus is provided to identify 16 kinds of Cucumis sativus which are propagated in Korea. CONSTITUTION: A polymorphic marker for identifying the species of Cucumis sativus contains a marker for identifying the species of Cucumis sativus, containing a primer set. A method for identifying the species of Cucumis sativus comprises: a step of isolating genome DNA from Cucumis sativus; a step of amplifying the genome DNA by using the marker as the primer; and a step of analyzing an amplified product and identifying the species of Cucumis sativus. |
