摘要 The present invention is related to a battery system for which a battery balancing method is applied. The battery balancing method comprises: checking a voltage balance of a battery pack (10); in case that no low voltage is generated in the battery pack, making the battery pack charge an assistant battery (20) and an ESS (40) using an LDC (30); and in case that a low voltage is generated in the battery pack, making the ESS charge the battery pack via a BMS (50), a controller (60) and a boost converter (70). Therefore, the present invention solves the collapse in the cell balancing of the battery pack in all vehicle state, and specifically enhances the applicability even in a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) mode and an electric vehicle (EV) mode by widening the usability of the assistant battery and the ESS.
