An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent data loss by processing two image pixel data through an arithmetic mean operation or a time division operation. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes an LCD panel(2), gate and data drivers(4,6), and a timing controller(8). The LCD panel displays first and second images based on a viewing angle at both sides. The gate driver drives sequentially gate lines of the LCD panel. The data driver supplies pixel signals to the data lines of the LCD panel. The timing controller, which controls the gate and date drivers, includes a data interpolation unit(10) that interpolates to prevent the data loss of pixel data of the first and second images. |
