The device has a strap (20), a case (30), a geolocation unit (40), and a mobile communication interface (50) i.e. Global system for mobile communication interface, that is ready to communicate with a distant terminal. The strap and the case are secured by a securing unit, and a communication unit is ready to give an alarm via the mobile communication interface. A conducting plate (21) is arranged with a specific thickness of the strap. An accelerometer is arranged to detect an abnormal immobility of a user. An independent claim is also included for a safety system.
