The device has an electric drilling machine (1) comprising a conversion mechanism or mechanical case (2) for conversion of rotational energy of the drilling machine into a traction movement. A traction mechanism or traction case (3) is arranged for carrying out a riveting operation. The conversion mechanism and the traction mechanism are disjoined, where the traction mechanism presents a specific architecture. A connection between the drilling machine and the conversion mechanism is provided by two half-shells.
