The present invention relates to a water leak prevention method and a water treatment device using the same. The water treatment device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a water inlet valve for controlling the flow rate of water flowing into the water treatment device; a water outlet valve for controlling the flow rate of the fluid processed in the water treatment device to be supplied to a user; a flow path formed between the water inlet valve and the water outlet valve, where the fluid passes through; and a controller maintains the internal pressure of the flow path by controlling the water inlet valve and the water outlet valve.
