A method for forming an orientation layer of a liquid crystal display device is provided to improve binding force between the orientation layer and a liquid crystal molecule by improving an order of a polymer material and ion beam search process. A method for forming an orientation layer of a liquid crystal display device includes: coating a substrate with a polymer material(S101); pre-baking the polymer material coated on the substrate(S102); irradiating ion beam to the pre-baked polymer material(S103); and heat-treating and curing the polymer material to which the ion beam is irradiated(S104). The polymer material is composed of a main chain and a side chain. The polymer material is one of polyimide or polyamic acid. |
