摘要 A method for preparing a polyester is provided to improve polymerization reaction velocity, to enhance the physical properties of a polyester and to reduce a manufacturing cost. A method for preparing a polyester comprises the step of depositing a metal catalyst nanoparticle on the surface of terephthalic acid, dimethylene terephthalate and isophthalic acid powders, or a solid powder used as an additive in the preparation of a polyester by vacuum sputtering deposition. Preferably the metal catalyst is selected from the group consisting of antimony(Sb), titanium(Ti), germanium(Ge), magnesium(Mg), manganese(Mn), calcium(Ca), cobalt(Co) and aluminum(Al)-based catalysts.
