<p>The converter has a limiting resistor (RL) limiting charge current of a bus capacitor (Cbus). A specific control device (CT1) allows application of gate voltage to a normally closed FET (T1) i.e. junction FET, of a controlled current source for controlling closing or opening of the transistor. The transistor is formed from a material with large band gap energy. A trigger source (Sd) is connected parallel to the limiting resistor and the control device and charged by negative voltage during starting the power converter.</p> |
