PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron gun and an electron tube which properly cool components while maintaining good coaxial arrangement between the components.SOLUTION: An input cavity container 4 includes a cathode 1 and a grid 2 therein and is disposed on a straight line connecting center points of the cathode 1 and the grid 2. An insulator 7 provided in the input cavity container 4 divides an input cavity into a first cavity 5 containing the grid 2 and a second cavity 6, which does not contain the grid 2, in an axial direction. A first vent hole 22 and a second vent hole 23, which are disposed so as to be rotationally symmetric relative to an axis line of the input cavity container 4, are formed at the second cavity side 6 of the input cavity container 4. |
