PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image quality adjustment control capable of calculating a suitable adjustment value in a wider condition range compared with image-quality adjustment control performed using a single image quality adjustment algorithm.SOLUTION: The image forming device executes an image-quality adjustment algorithm stored in storage means in timing of executing process control during a job to calculate an adjustment value about an image formation operation parameter, such as a developing bias or a target toner density, and executes the process control during the job for adjusting the image formation operation parameter on the basis of the adjustment value. The storage means stores a plurality of types of operation algorithms capable of independently calculating an adjustment value about the same image formation operation parameter to each other. The final adjustment value about the same image formation operation parameter is calculated on the basis of each adjustment value calculated by executing the plurality of types of image-quality adjustment algorithms and the image formation operation parameter is adjusted on the basis of the final adjustment value. |
