PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive device that includes two output paths by an engine.SOLUTION: A transmission mechanism T includes: an input shaft 26 connected with an engine output shaft 12 through a third clutch means C3; a first input/output shaft 24 connected with the input shaft 26, and a first electric motor GEN; a second input/output shaft 25 connected with a second electric motor MOT; an output shaft 23 connected with the second input/output shaft 25; and a planetary gear mechanism 50 installed between the first electric motor GEN, and the second input/output shaft 25. The planetary gear mechanism 50 includes: a ring gear 51 that is connected with a rotor 15 of the first electric motor GEN; a sun gear 52 connected to the second input/output shaft 25; pinion gears 53 and 54 that are disposed between the ring gear 51 and the sun gear 52 and engaged with these gears; and a carrier 55 rotatable supports the pinion gears 53 and 54. There are included a first clutch means C1 that locks and releases the carrier 55 and the case 11, a second clutch means C2 that locks and releases the ring gear 51 and the carrier 55. |
