PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic view finder device which offers reduced deterioration of display quality due to internal surface reflection light therein.SOLUTION: A first circular polarization plate 12 is configured by placing a second polarization plate 5 and a first 1/4 wavelength plate 6 between a polarization separation film 4 and an ocular optical system 7, while a second circular polarization plate 13 is configured by placing a third polarization plate 9 and a second 1/4 wavelength plate 8 between the ocular optical system 7 and a protective plate 10. The first circular polarization plate 12 and the second circular polarization plate 13 has the 1/4 wavelength plate 6 and the 1/4 wavelength plate 8, respectively, positioned to inwardly face each other. Even if optical image light 14 from the polarization separation film 4 is reflected by the surface of the ocular optical system 7 or the second 1/4 wavelength plate 8, thereby producing surface reflection light 15, display quality is not deteriorated since the surface reflection light 15 is blocked by the first circular polarization plate 12. |
