PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (meth)acrylate compound whose polymer has a high refractive index, and to provide a production method and a composition.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a 9,10-bis{[2-(meth)acryloyloxy]alkoxy}-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,4-methanoanthracene compound represented by formula (1), (meth)acryloylating a compound represented by formula (2), and a method for producing the same.
