PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that is capable of suppressing vibration efficiently and minimizing deterioration of steering performance such as an increased sticky feel of a steering wheel by extracting a vibration component having any amplitude and any frequency band according to the quantity of an electric power steering state and by feeding a vibration suppression compensation value, which is calculated according to the extracted vibration component, back to a current command value.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device, wherein a motor is used to impart an assisting force to the power steering system of a vehicle, includes: a current command value determination part for determining a current command value on the basis of a steering torque and a vehicle speed; a vibration extraction filter for extracting a vibration component that has any amplitude and any frequency band according to the quantity of an electric power steering state; and a compensation value calculation part for calculating a vibration suppression compensation value on the basis of the vibration component extracted by the vibration extraction filter. Vibration of the motor is suppressed by feeding the calculated vibration suppression compensation value back to the current command value. |
