PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airplane lavatory unit that is advantageous in increasing the number of seats.SOLUTION: A second sidewall 30 comprises a long-space-part sidewall 30A and a wide-space-part sidewall 30B. The long-space-part sidewall 30A forms, between it and a first sidewall 28, a long space part SA that extends with a uniform width. The wide-space-part sidewall 30B forms, between it and the first sidewall 28, a wide space part SB that has a greater width than the long space part SA. A toilet bowl 40 is arranged at an end of the long space part SA in the extending direction thereof. A wash basin 42 is not arranged in the long space part SA but is arranged at one end of the wide space part SB in the width direction thereof. A doorway 38 is arranged in a front wall 34 to be located closer to the other end of the wide space part SB in the width direction thereof. The width W2 of a body frame 24 where the long-space-part sidewall 30A, which is exposed to the outside of the airplane lavatory unit, is located is set to a dimension that is sufficient for ensuring that the long space part SA has a width that allows a person to enter and exit the long space part SA and that allows a person to sit on the toilet bowl 40. |
